Induction sealers play a crucial role in sealing caps equipped with induction liner disks onto the tops of various non-metallic containers, ensuring a secure closure. These liners are composed of multiple layers, with a key structure comprising a metallic layer positioned over a thermoplastic layer. The combination of these layers creates a robust seal with exceptional sealing properties. The sealing process begins when the induction sealer applies ultrahigh frequency vibration to the metallic layer. This energy prompts the metal layer to heat up rapidly, generating sufficient heat to melt the underlying thermoplastic layer. As the thermoplastic layer liquefies, it fuses with the top surface of the container, forming a tightly sealed bond. This sealing technique guarantees a hermetic and impermeable barrier, preventing the escape of gases and maintaining the freshness and integrity of the contents within. For added convenience and functionality, the Two-Piece Induction Liner incorporates a secondary liner made of pulp board. This additional backing serves as a supplementary layer that facilitates the resealing of the container after it has been opened. By utilizing the pulp board liner, the container can be securely closed again, making it an ideal solution for products that are not intended to be consumed immediately upon opening. This feature ensures that the contents remain protected and preserved for future use.
